
Residential Development
Broadmead Lane, Harare
A spacious family home, although located in a very sought after suburb of Harare had fallen into a poor state of disrepair due to tenant neglect. Responsibility for deriving the budget, and managing the refurbishment on behalf of an institutional client. The property, set in an acre of land, included a full sized tennis court and swimming pool. The refurbishment extended beyond the complete renewal of the bathrooms through to a major overhaul of the kitchen within the home and the renewal of the court and pool included some attention to the landscaping.

Primrose Gardens, Harare
A multi-phased residential development for the high-end market – pitched at the buyers in the US$250-400k range. The development is located in one of the prime areas in the northern suburbs of Harare, and constructed a series of duplex buildings varying in size from 150-200m2. The development was undertaken as a funding partnership between 3 organisations. As Development Coordinators we supervised the development from design and construction through to sale. The first phase of the development was sold in 2009.

Mayfield Estate, Harare
The Mayfield Estate is a housing development on 23ha of land in one of the sought after suburbs of Harare. This development was aimed at the middle-income group with target selling prices of US$40-100k. The development was undertaken from the stages of acquisition of a Greenfield site through planning and sub-division to construction of infra and super structure for onward sale of individual homes and plots. The sales comprised 35 completed units and 100 plots of 1,000m2. The value of the entire development in 2002 was approximately US$5m.
